01What to include
For the fastest answer, include a short description of the problem, which rung you used (Headline, Brief, Read, or Digest), your Chrome version, and any error message Distill showed.
- For extraction problems, the URL of the saved article that failed helps a lot.
- For a synthesis that came out wrong, a screenshot of the result is ideal.
- Please don't paste large amounts of article text into the email — a link is enough.
02Accounts, billing, and the daily caps
Distill has no accounts and no sign-in, so there is nothing to log into or recover. The service is free, with a daily cap to keep it sustainable; when you hit it, generation pauses until the cap resets. There is no paid tier — if you'd like to support the project, you can do so on Ko-fi. Ko-fi handles those contributions directly; for a question about a Ko-fi payment, contact Ko-fi, and we're happy to help where we can.
03Privacy and deletion requests
Privacy questions and deletion requests go to support@productivities.fyi. Because Distill keeps your profile, settings, cache, and saved digests on your own device, uninstalling the extension or clearing its storage removes essentially everything it holds about you. The Privacy Policy explains what stays local and what the backend sees during a request.
